Looking for a 4-legged furry kid? Well, this is the place to come! Hi! My name is Oscar and this is my sister Gypsy! Mom told us that Alex had invited us to give a testimonial if we would like. Of course since that is right up my alley, I raised my paw and begged Mom to let us do it. So here goes how Gypsy and I see things.
Not so long ago (about 10 years ago) our parents got a white British Short Hair named Bojangles from a not so well known breeder. My folks were new to dealing with breeders and didn't know the right questions to ask. Anyway they got Bojangles and life was good except Bojangles had a series of health problems and they lost him at 9 years of age due to a massive heart attack. My folks were devastated! They loved him and missed him so much!
So they decided they wanted more kids! Dad talked Mom into looking for two kids this time. Mom was a little hesitant saying she didn't know if she could divided her heart and love with two. Soon Dad had her convinced two would be twice the fun, twice the love, twice the entertainment, etc.....you get the idea! Mom just interjected.....twice the poop too! But hey....do what my folks did...get an electric potty! Works out great!
So Mom gets on the computer and finds Alex and Inga's web site at www.britishbluecats.com and voila! She found us! Well not quite that easy. Mom calls and asks if she and Dad can come visit. Mom and Dad had learned to ask lots of questions and wanted to get to know the breeders better and that's just what happened! My folks came and visited Alex and Inga way before we were born. There were lots of questions asked back and forth and my folks learned that Alex and Inga knew what they were doing in breeding us cuties. We leave here with purrrrrrfect health, beauty beyond belief (Gypsy's input there), well mannered and used to being part of a family and oh by the way, we are bilingual......now where else ya gonna find cuties like us who speak English and Russian????. We still speak our Russian among ourselves, but not with Mom and Dad! Hey, ya don't wanna mess around with ya dinner requests now, do ya!! Anyway, we never lived in a cage.....just bedrooms at Alex and Inga's. Actually, Gypsy and I are half brother and sister. I was an only child and so we had to wait an extra two weeks for Gypsy to be born to one of my Kitty Dad's other wives. We shared a bedroom with one of the human kids for a while before Mom and Dad picked us up. And oh, Mom and Dad came to visit us before we were ready to go home with them. It was fun! We had a good time!
Life was good at Alex and Inga's and they got us ready to come home with our new parents. The eats were good, the accommodations were good (no cages), and we were treated like part of the family so we had social skills. The only thing they did not prepare us for was the ride home. Have you ever heard how some stories start out as: "It was a dark and stormy night...................". Well on the way home that evening it happened......a dark and stormy night. We have never seen lightning like that before and hope we never do again! It was a hairy ride to our new home but it worked out great! Alex and Inga had ensured we were coming to the best home ever! And they knew what they were talking about cause they had gotten to know our parents.
We are two well adjusted kids who have a great home and the best parents EVER! And we owe it to Alex and Inga!
Thank you Alex and Inga!

Dear Inga and Alex,
As Chloe [read Aspen] approaches her second birthday, we are reminded that we have been remiss in expressing our satisfaction with the Britishblue djsghjdhgjdghCattery.
Like most, our initial introduction to you and Britishblue came via the internet. Your web site is well laid out, informative and clear in both your introduction and the Britishblue mission statement. What sets your site apart from any other is the timely fashion in which it is updated. Clear, high resolution pictures with real time updates offer accurate depictions of the kittens, their lineage and availability. During our decision making process we repeatedly came back to your site over all others…and we continue to visit just to see the latest kittens. Communication via email and/or telephone was impeccable. Simply put, the Britishblue Cattery is clearly the most “business like” breeder we have every encountered.
We took pause when we read on your site: Our cats live with us as a part of our family. They are acclimated to all the commotion of a household. It was our opinion that potential bad habits could be learned if the breeder introduced a kitten into an unstructured home environment. When we visited your very clean and comfortable home we met the senior cats along with all of their kittens…not to mention your baby German Shepherd that was being introduced into the social mix. In a supervised setting, all seemed to be respectful of each other and their surroundings while playfully exploring their new world. After a long car ride home, Chloe’s introduction to both our home and her new big sister kitty Emma only took a couple of days. And to our amazement, besides all of the usual things well adjusted kittens learn from their mother, she went straight to a scratching post. We can only assume she was introduced to this during your family’s acclimation, and it made our job very easy. No bad habits to unlearn with this one!
Most importantly you state: Our goal is to breed cats of excellent type and temperament. Chloe is a wonderful example of what a British Shorthair should be. She is both physically and mentally healthy and exemplifies a Brits body type and temperament. Following your dietary guidelines, she is maturing into a spectacular example of your breeding expertise. She loves us, we will always love her…and when the time comes we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else but to the Britishblue Cattery for another kitten.
We are extremely satisfied.

Dear Alex and Inga,
I am only too glad to write a comment endorsing your cattery.
I researched many breeds of cats, and finally decided to check out british blue short hair cats.
So, I called Alex and Inga Fedorov and was told that a kitten was available, and we were welcome to come to see him. We were very pleasantly and warmly received into their home where were greeted by a beautiful assortment of kittens and cats, who were just stunningly beautiful, playful and curious about us.
We did adopt Mr. Benjamin and have been delighted with him. We have since been blessed to have his sister join us, and it has been a great experience.
The Fedorovs have very dear to us, interested in what is going on with us and our feline family.
If you want honesty, friendliness, and fairness and beautiful, healthy kittens, by all means meet the Fedorovs and their kittens. You will not be disappointed.

Hi Inga & Alex,
I wanted to take a few moments to tell you how thankful I am that I found your website several years ago. I was on a mission to find a Britishblue cat since seeing them in movies. I loved their faces and especially their eyes. I looked at many different sites but none were as informative and so well displayed as yours. I liked they way you have pictures of all the cats along with past litters. I visited your site daily for about 3 years when I finally made the decision to buy a kitten. Biron (Winston) is now 1 yr and 8 months. That was the best decision I made. I was so impressed when I was able to come to your home and see the kittens and to see his parent's too. What was so impressive is how much they looked like their pictures on your website. It's nice to know that what I was looking at was the real thing. What a great environment you have for these cats and kittens.
I am new to this breed but grew up with your basic house cat. What I read on your website about this breed was so dead on as to how my cat is. This is the coolest cat I have ever had and I am spoiled by this breed. Biron (Winston) is so much fun and a lot of company. He has such a personality and so true to nature. He's not a lap cat but he is with me every where I go. I am always telling my friends and co-workers about the things he does and I tell everyone that they need a cat like this. I am so glad there are people like you guys that are honest and it is obvious these kittens are very well taken care of and you know you are getting a great quality pet. Thanks!!

Dear Alex and Inga,
Our meeting was one of great sorrow and joy all wrapped up in one moment. Our search to find a new princess for our family started after the loss of our angel Zoie Marie. Our search began on the CFA website looking through lists of breeders. We wanted a breeder somewhat close. A breeder that was within driving distance so we could personally pick up our kitten. We fell in love with your website and your wonderful, beautiful cats. Your home page was inviting and warm. I felt like you loved your cats, that they were part of your family. It was obvious that this isn’t just a job for you but your passion. I remember the moment that I looked at your available kitten page. There was one precious little girl kitten left, Claudette. It was fate. I remember the joy I felt when I saw her picture for the first time. She was so adorable and all I knew was that I wanted her. I turned to my husband and asked him if we could get her. He looked at her pictures and responded with a yes! I immediately emailed you in hopes that she could be ours. I was very impressed at how fast you replied to my inquiry regarding Claudette and comforted by the fact that you were willing to talk to me on the phone to discuss your cattery. We spent the next month counting down the days until we made our trip to pick up Claudette and had many emails from you about Claudette’s progress. The anticipation was building and finally the day came. We made the trip from Jacksonville, Florida to your home in Atlanta and it was well worth it. You both welcomed us into your home and we truly enjoyed talking to you about your cats. Then you brought Claudette to meet us. Tears came to my eyes when you gave me Claudette to hold for the very first time. At that point, our hearts began to heal and for that we are so grateful.
We have now had Claudette for a year and a half and she is still our little princess. She has a wonderful personality and she is very friendly. Not only is she beautiful, she is very healthy as well. Her personality is very sweet, playful and affectionate. She isn’t needy or demanding. She handles our work schedule very well and greets us each day as we come home with a meow, purr and a rub on the leg. She is very laid back and loves to sit back and watch as we go through our daily routines. We are so very pleased with her and with the professional yet friendly manner you both have shown us. We feel like you are a part of our family through our princess Claudette. We are so pleased with the quality of Claudette and your friendly nature that we have decided to return to your cattery to get Claudette a little brother. We look forward to the joys that lie ahead with Claudette, Luke and any other four legged furry babies that join our family.
We are so grateful and couldn’t ask for more.

Inga,
Gillie (aka Lady Gillian Silverdale) is the fourth Brit I have had, the first from your cattery. She is the sweetest of all the Brits I have had. Gillie has a very laidback personality, is a bit shy around strangers, but loves to be close to her family. Within a few weeks of arrival at our home, she had adapted well. She loves our other cat we already had (a stray we adopted a year before we got Gillie) and follows his every move. If he eats, she eats! She loves to be brushed and petted and if we get close to her, she starts purring before we even touch her (she also purrs when she eats!). Gillie is a petite Brit (I remember her Mom, Ashley being small), but does weigh about 14 pounds. Her coat is very plush and thick and everyone comments about how soft she is.
When I first started looking for a Brit, two days after my beloved Brit, Duffy, passed away, I was drawn to your cattery because your cats all "live in the home' amongst each other and family. I was also looking specifically for a lilac female kitten. The pictures you sent were so adorable and we fell in love right away. When we came to your house to pick her up, I was very impressed with the living conditions in your home and with all of the kittens running around playing. Besides being very clean (hard to do with all of the cats), I could tell it was a very warm and loving environment...what a great place for a kitten to live in its first few months.
Thanks again for bringing Gillie into our lives...if/when I ever decide to get another kitten, you would be the first person I would call!
Best wishes!

Hello Inga & Alex,
We just wanted to let you know that Gismo & Joshua are doing very well! Gismo just turned 1 year old and Josh is now 9 months old. They are very happy, healthy, and well adjusted cats. From day one, they have always used their litter boxes and never once have gone anywhere else. We put 3 scratching posts around the house and they took right to them. We have never had any problems with them scratching furniture or carpet. They are very friendly, affectionate, and follow us everywhere. They always want to be part of whatever we are doing. I call them my little helpers! I think the reason your kittens turn out so well is because you keep them for 12 weeks after birth. This allows them to get socialized properly with the other cats and people. It makes all the difference.
We are so happy with Gismo & Josh and could not have asked for better cats. We love them! If we know of anyone looking for a top quality British Shorthair, we will definitely refer them to you.
Thanks again,
Bob & Jeff

Hello Alex and Inga,
With all of the wonderful British short hair cats we have had, Fuzzy (now Tigrita or Tig) has been the most amazing we have had. Bright, intelligent and very affectionate, she has brightened our lives over the past year. And, gotten big..of course the very soft fur may make her seem larger.
Thanks again for providing this family member.

I was looking for British Blue kitten for almost three years, checking one cattery after another (Internet search). I always came back to the same website - Inga's cats. Her cats and kittens appeared to be the best quality and best looks. Finally I got my wish - I got Elza in February 2009. She was 3 months old.
I cannot say thank you enough to Inga and Alex. You truly have The Best quality British Shorthair cats. Elza is naturally intelligent and very sweet.
There are some things that fascinate me the most about her. She follows everyone around a house including our housekeeper - supervising everyone all the time. She is very social - she comes out right away to meet and greet our guests and gets right in the middle of the action. When she was 7-8 months old she got a blue soft tunnel to play in. She kind of got tired of it in a while, but any time guests would come the first thing she would show to them was Elza's Tunnel- she would start running through it and playing like a goof ball!
She won over my husband very quickly. They have a mutual love relationship. Every time he is away she misses him! When he comes back from his trips she runs to him and will not leave his side all day. Guess what he asks me first thing when he is away? How is Elza doing!
She does not scratch furniture - she knows to use her scratchpad. I have a couple of those sitting around the house for her.
I brush her teeth weekly - she does not like it and sometimes fights but she never bites or scratches me. She is very gentle with everyone.
As all British Shorthair cats she does not like to be held and when you pick her up she starts whining. This really cracks us up!
Ray and I like to play with her. She has a "fishing pole," and I play ball with her. She trained us well! Elza comes to him and waits for the fishing pole to come out and swing. When I go to the living room, she will sit in the middle of the room next to her ball and cry loudly to let me know it’s time to play!
I can go on forever about the precious things she does that are so intelligent and wonderful.
Again, thank you so very much for such a great gift - Our Elza!

Alex, & Inga,
I just want to say THANK YOU so much! My cats are absolutely wonderful, they are more then I could have hoped for! You made the buying experience very friendly and easy I enjoyed meeting you both and all the kittens at the time. Aspen and Siloh are doing great. They both have unique personalities. Aspen loves to play in the sink and Siloh loves to be brushed. They are both very sweet cats. I would recommend your cats to anyone looking for a British Shorthair. Once again thank you. Take care.
